Jamie Shepherdson is a Managing Director of CR Capital Group, and previously served as a member of the Board of Managers of Steadfast Capital Markets Group, LLC. To date, Steadfast has acquired over 20,000 apartment units for an acquisition value in excess of $2 billion. Prior to Steadfast, Mr. Shepherdson was President of Retirement Services and a Senior Executive Vice President of AXA Equitable. Mr. Shepherdson had overall responsibility for AXA Equitable’s retirement and annuity business which included wholesale distribution through AXA Distributors, the company he co-founded in 1996. While at AXA, Mr. Shepherdson oversaw over $30 billion in sales. Additionally, he was Chairman of AXA Life Europe and CEO of AXA Global Distributors where he distributed proprietary annuity products through global and national banking institutions throughout Europe.

Through his 35 year career, Mr. Shepherdson has gained comprehensive experience within the wholesale distribution of life and annuity insurance products, mutual fund, real estate and oil and gas assets with roles as President and CEO of John Hancock Funds, co-CEO of MetLife Investors and Vice Chairman of McGuiness Companies. He has been recognized for dramatically increasing year-over-year sales and advancing the market positioning for the respective companies he has worked with.

Mr. Shepherdson received an MBA, with honors, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Greg Brakovich is a Managing Director of CR Capital Group and is responsible for sourcing and structuring wholesale distribution partnerships with third-party investment management companies. Prior to CR Capital, Mr. Brakovich was the Founder and CEO of KBS Capital Markets Group, and led the organization to a 12% market share and raising more than $2 billion within three years of its formation in the non-traded REIT market.

With over 35 years of investment industry experience, Mr. Brakovich specializes in building and managing third-party distribution organizations and is credited with founding three of the premier distribution franchises in the financial services industry: Fidelity Advisors, AXA Distributors and MetLife Investors. All three companies grew to become market leaders and continue to hold those positions today — raising well in excess of $10 billion annually in new capital and distributing products in over 400 broker dealers nationwide.

Mr. Brakovich is a Trustee at the University of Southern California, where he received a degree in Business Administration.

Phil Meserve is a Managing Director of CR Capital Group has overall responsibility for the sales and marketing of CR Capital Group's investment products. Prior to CR Capital, Mr. Meserve was a senior vice president with AXA Equitable where he had overall responsibility for the sales of variable annuities to more than 650 broker dealers. During his tenure with AXA, Mr. Meserve oversaw $25 billion in annual variable annuity sales — making AXA a top five ranked annuity company in the country.

With more than 35 years of experience in the investment industry, Mr. Meserve has comprehensive experience in the sales and distribution of life and annuity products, mutual funds and private placements through institutional and financial intermediaries. Mr. Meserve was part of the team that successfully launched and developed the distribution organizations for both MetLife Investors and Fidelity Investments, and subsequently oversaw the growth of these companies to a top five position within their respective markets.

Mr. Meserve received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State College and is a graduate of the Financial Services College at the Wharton School of Business.
